It's unlikely that Shakespeare had Lindsay Mushett in mind when he wrote this line, but he might as well have. Lindsay is an eye-catching, petite dynamo. Reviewers have compared her to "Alicia Silverstone at the height of her popularity," and she is equally adept at inspiring a roar of laughter and an emotional catharsis (sometimes both at the same time). Lindsay is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, where she was invited back to act in the Academy Company. Whether on the stage or the screen, she always shows an extraordinary commitment to her craft. Lindsay has continued to advance her acting training with Larry Moss, Olympia Dukakis, Frank Langella, and The Upright Citizens Brigade. She has also been selected as one of eight mentees of Women in Film’s prestigious Actor Mentorship Program 2020-2021.
Lindsay was raised on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia where she was an all-state soccer player and received governor's honors recognition for her achievement in theater. She then moved to New York City to refine her intellect and work ethic as an undergraduate at Columbia University-Barnard College. In addition to earning a bachelor's degree in sociology, she served as a captain and four-year scholar athlete on Columbia's Division I soccer team. Lindsay is also a dedicated activist and humanitarian, having participated in numerous projects in support of children with disabilities in the Middle East, Africa, and Haiti, and she continues to channel her athleticism in her work as a professional stunt woman.
Lindsay's TV credits include 'Blue Bloods,' 'FBI: Most Wanted,' 'The Blacklist,' and 'Hightown.' Film credits include 'Looks That Kill,' 'The Godmother,' 'Ten Shots,' and ‘Immortal.’ Lindsay is also the star and producer of 'Circle of Fourths,' a film written and directed by her brother Travis American.
